Why Choose An Underwire Bandeau Bra

July 15, 2010

What is an underwire bra? Well the official definition goes something like this: Underwire bras contain wiring that is sewn in and runs underneath the cup of the bra in a “U” type shape. The wires are used to lift and separate the breasts.  For some people just the mere suggestion of using wire in a bra makes them cringe.  Many bra makers have perfected underwire and some women once they try it will never go back to a conventional bra.  So why did Bandeau create a bra with underwire if their main theme is comfort?  Well an underwire Bandeau bra is comfortable.

Bandeau bras with underwire are needed when breasts need extra support.  Some women in the small spectrum of breast sizes, use the support to enhance their cup size appearance.  Some women with larger size breasts like the added support that the underwire offers.  They want to wear a Bandeau bra and without the added lift of a wire underneath, they have the sag effect and cannot wear a strapless outfit without practically tripping over their “girls.”  Older women who have had children have the same problem. As much as we hate to admit it, gravity takes over and the “girls” get lazy.  The underwire helps them out and gives the woman over forty with kids a fighting chance.

The Bandeau underwire bra comes in various colors, patterns and styles. Some have removable straps and the styles are perfect for the layered look. Now chestier women and those over forty can wear the latest styles of strapless and nearly strapless shirts and dresses without worry or discomfort. The Bandeau bra itself regardless of what style you get provides a smoother underline so the “you can see my bra line” effect is not necessarily out there for everyone to see.  Whether you sport small breasts and want to enhance them with more support or you are on the larger side and need more support or are a woman over forty, the underwire Bandeau bra will help you with whatever support dilemma you find yourself in.
